Thank you BTC Software

Thank you to our sponsors BTC Software. For the past four years this local company has donated supplies of hundreds of lollipops, flip flops, bottles of water and other items to Woking Street Angels.
Rob Ellis, CEO of BTC Software said, "When I first heard of Street Angels, I thought, 'What a great idea! – and going out with the angels through the night just served to reinforce this view. Street Angels do really valuable work looking after our young people when they may be a little worse for wear at the end of a night out."

Thank you to A Cup Of Peace in Kingfield Road, Woking for displaying our flyers. Woking Street Angels always need more volunteers, and we have found that displaying flyers in local shops works is a good way to attract attention.

Thank you Time To Market

Thank you to Andrew Ivey of 'Time to Market' who generously gave up his time to train our trustees in 'Presentation Skills'. It was a fantastic workshop, where even those who regularly and confidently give presentations felt they learned a lot. We would highly recommend Andrew to anyone looking to improve or refresh their skills giving presentations.

Thank you to Woking Borough Council

Thank you to Woking Borough Council for always supporting Woking Street Angels. Since 2010 the council has supported us with grants, has given us a rest area in the council offices when we are on duty on weekend nights and continues to affirm their support with presence at our regular Operations Meetings.

On the fifth anniversary of Woking Street Angels, Douglas Spinks, Deputy Chief Executive of Woking Borough Council reinforced the Council’s support for Woking Street Angels and expressed the hope that volunteers maintain their presence on the streets, saying, “You need to carry on. Angels exist, sometimes they don’t have wings and we call them friends. Woking Borough Council and Woking Street Angels are great friends – please do another five years!”

Thank you to Barlow Robbins Solicitors

Since 2011 Barlow Robbins Solicitors, in the heart of Woking, have allowed Woking Street Angels to park in their car park during the nights when they are on duty on the streets. This permission enables the volunteers to be safe when returning to their cars carrying Street Angels equipment in the early hours of the morning.
