Surrey County Council, through a kind offer from their councillor and former Mayor of Woking, Amanda Boote, have awarded Woking Street Angels a grant towards the costs of running a Mental Health Awareness course in late October for all their Team Leaders and Street Angels.  This will be very useful learning to increase the knowledge and awareness for our volunteers about mental health issues that affect some of those we may meet and help on duty.
