Lakeview Community Fun Day returned to Woking last Saturday for the first time since the pandemic and of course, Woking Street Angels were there to support. In the early hours of August 12th, we pitched up our gazebo, set up our stall and got ready to meet the residents and their families.
It was a wonderful day full of dancing, games, music and fun. Alongside our usual information on what we do and a sneak peak into our famous orange kit bags, we hosted a guess the sweeties jar and a guess the name of the teddy game for the children who were having a wonderful time. Even when the rain decided to make an appearance, it didn't dampen spirits.
There were many stalls at the fun day supporting the Lakeview Community Action Group and it was a fab day to meet so many different agencies and have so many lovely conversations with the local residents.
